Following the yoga journeys of lots of Sunshine Yogis, many of you have expressed an interest in Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer the Chandra 200 hour YTT in the autumn of 2018. Teaching yoga can help you create a life where your beliefs, thoughts and actions flow from your core values. Whether you are interested in broadening your understanding of yoga or teaching yoga to others, this well rounded and very supported program is for you. If you do intend to teach yoga, we believe the true art of teaching lies in marrying your ability to skillfully teach asana, meditation and pranayama with your capacity to share, inspire, motivate, encourage and truly offer all your uniqueness to others. The course is designed for future teachers who want to teach skillful and heartfelt classes that make a difference in the world.
We believe that good teaching starts with your own learning. This is why we will only take 17 trainees per training The course draws on a range of leading practices honouring the timeless teachings that have grown from the lineage of Krishnamacharya, the inspiration behind many styles of modern yoga including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar Yoga. We recognise that yoga, from its earliest roots in ancient India, has continually grown and developed and continues to do so as we bring its teachings into the 21st century. We firmly believe that every path of this great centuries old tradition should be acknowledged, explored and respected. And as we hope to spread the benefits of yoga throughout Scotland, we aim to keep our fees as low as reasonably possible. You will leave this course with the knowledge, skills and confidence to teach yoga safely and mindfully and as a compassionate and confident teacher.
