We operate an email mailing list program, used to inform subscribers about products, services and/or news we supply/publish. Users can subscribe through an online automated process where they have given their explicit permission. Subscriber personal details are collected, processed, managed and stored in accordance with the regulations named in ‘The policy’ above. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time through an automated online service, or if not available, other means as detailed in the footer of sent marketing messages. The type and content of marketing messages subscribers receive, and if it may contain third party content, is clearly outlined at the point of subscription.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY & USAGE

We adopt a Social Media Policy to ensure our business conducts itself accordingly online. While we may have official profiles on social media platforms users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles. We will never ask for user passwords or personal details on social media platforms. Users are advised to conduct themselves appropriately when engaging with us on social media.

There may be instances where our website features social sharing buttons, which help share web content directly from web pages to the respective social media platforms. You use social sharing buttons at your own discretion and accept that doing so may publish content to your social media profile feed or page. General Terms and Conditions

Please note that our expiry dates for 5 class or 10 class passes cannot be extended for any reason. No exceptions.

Class Bookings

  • Pre-booked classes must be paid for in advance.
  • Drop-in Classes can be purchased at Sunshine Yoga Studio.
  • Classes will automatically be deducted from your class pass or you can purchase individual classes with a debit or credit card.
  • Early cancellations: class bookings can be cancelled up to 3 hours in advance. If you paid by class pass, your class will be credited back to your account.
  • Late cancellations: Any cancellations made after this time (within 3 hours of the class start time) will not be credited back to your class or refunded.

Bookings for workshops

Please note we operate a 48 hour cancellation policy for workshops. Any workshop bookings cancelled within the 48 hour window will be noted as late cancel and charged. N.B. Any guest teacher workshop cancellations will automatically be noted as a late cancel.

General 

By attending classes at Sunshine Yoga, you agree to the following:

1. Any type of yoga requires physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
2. It is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any yoga class/workshop. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and have no psychological, medical or emotional condition that would prevent me from safe participation in any yoga class/workshop.
3. Instructors may provide physical adjustments during class. It is my responsibility to inform the instructor at the beginning of class if I do not want such physical adjustments. It is also my responsibility to inform the instructor when an adjustment has gone as far as I desire at that time.
4. All class passes and memberships are non-refundable, non-transferrable and may not be suspended at any time for any reason, including, but not limited to vacation, illness and injury. Class passes expire one year after first use.
5. I give unrestricted permission to use and publish photographs or video images taken of me in any yoga class/workshop or at the studio, or in which I may be included, for any purpose authorized by Sunshine Yoga, including but not limited to social media or website use, editorial publications and advertising use. This includes the right to modify and retouch the images. The circulation of such materials could be worldwide and I am aware that there will be no compensation to me for this use and that I will not be given the opportunity to inspect or approve the finished products or the advertising copy or the printed matter that may be used in connection therewith.
6. I release and discharge Sunshine Yoga, its directors, owner and the Sunshine Yoga instructors, adjusters, staff and volunteers from any and all liability, claim, demand or action that I may have resulting from injury, death or damages arising from my participation in the yoga class/workshop or at that yoga studio, including loss that may be caused by the negligence of the released party. This includes participation in classes/workshops held away from the Sunshine Yoga premises.
7. I release and discharge Sunshine Yoga, its directors and its instructors, adjusters, staff and volunteers from any and all liability, claim, demand or action that I may have related to the loss, theft or damage of any of my personal property from the Sunshine Yoga premises.
8. I recognize that this agreement of release and waiver of liability is a legal contract and that, by reading it carefully, I have complete knowledge of its contents. I have read this agreement and fully understand its content and meaning, and sign it of my own free will and I am over the age of 18.

 

Using our site

You agree to use our site in accordance with these terms and conditions, only for lawful purposes and in a way which does not infringe the rights of anyone or restrict or inhibit anyone’s use and enjoyment of the site. If you don’t comply with these terms, we may deny you access to our site. If you wish to make a booking, you should follow the instructions for making a booking that appear on the site. Any booking will be subject to your agreement to further terms and conditions in respect of that booking. We will notify you of the relevant terms and conditions which you will have to accept to complete your booking.You may download and print content from our site only for your private, personal and non-commercial use. We do not guarantee or warrant that any material available for downloading is free from infection, viruses, trojans and/or other contaminating codes. You agree to use the enquiry and booking forms on our site to make only genuine enquiries +/or bookings for you or for other persons for whom you are authorised to act. You will not use the site to send by e-card, email, post or otherwise transmit any material that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy, vulgar, obscene or profane.
